  1. I am currently writing a book about the outback of Australia, with some twenty five to thirty sheep and cattle stations nationwide participating. One of the major aspects which appears to be gaining interest is that of our wonderful Indigenous people. I am trying to contact some of our actors/celebrities to see if they might be interested in sharing their stories – their heritages/beginnings and how they were ‘discovered’ – this would be incredibly inspirational for other Indigenous people and others generally. I realise Mr Dogg probably won’t even hear about my request but I live in hope.
    Thank you.

  3. He certainly did a fair bit of work for Smokey Dawson, where I first met him, as well as taking groups out on trail rides, odd jobs and stable care. I remember him turning up sometimes at Pittwater RSL in his white “elvis suit” after shows. He brought his guitar along to my place and sang at my 21st (1976) was great.
Will try and find where yu are next time in Sydney, rgds mal

  4. Long time friend who I have bumped into over the years on numerous films.
Grew up with him at Smokey Dawson’s ranch and learned a lot from this man.
Many fun times around the campfire.
He could gentle the toughest of horses.
Would be great to catch up and talk about old times.
